

Gangwon Provincial Flowering Plant Garden was established to protect and manage wild flowers that grow uncultivated only in Gangwon-do. It was formed on 25 acre-wide lands and is currently growing 26,000 examples of 330 species of flowering trees and 23,000 examples of 140 species of flowering plants in glass greenhouses and flowering plant gardens.
The Museum of Forestry is composed of four exhibition rooms that display everything about forestry, including types and growth of
trees. The exhibition rooms are decorated with various tree models that are created to resemble the actual forms and sizes of the trees, giving you the feeling of walking in an actual forest in Gangwon-do.

Korean Botanical Garden, located in Mt. Odaesan National Park, grows 1,100 species of flowers and plants that grow wild only in Korea. The botanical garden is divided into various interesting themes, such as landscapes, pot-planting, and ecologies, and its wild flower garden is well-known for photography from spring to autumn.
Mt. Odaesan National Park is luxurious with beautiful trees and the Woljeongsa Temple Fir Tree Trail is the most popular of all. Entering
Woljeongsa Temple at the foot of the mountains, the beautiful fir tree trail, displaying a completely different atmosphere, stretches for a long way. This trail is widely known as one of Korea's most beautiful mountains trails.
