Yongpyong Resort
Yongpyong Resort is a general resort located on the highlands of Daegwallyeong 700m above sea level, and it is a place where visitors can enjoy ski, golf, lodging, and water parks at one place. It was the second in Asia to receive accreditation as an international-level ski resort by the International Ski Federation (FIS), and it successfully held the World Cup Ski Competition in 1998 and 2000, and the Asian Winter Games in 1999. Thus, it is well known among European, Japanese and other Asian skiers as well. Its 31 slopes, including the Rainbow slope, receives an annual average snow of 250cm and has a 3.7km long cable car and 15 lifts, as well as Korea’s largest ski house, Dragon Plaza, making it loved by many skiers and boarders.

Fun Ski Festival
This is a ski festival held for foreign tourists at Yongpyong Resort, which proudly stands as the Mecca of ski in Korea. Participants of the festival can enjoy ski lessons, banquets and various performances for 4 days and 3 nights, and on the last day, a ski competition for everyone is opened. It is gaining in popularity every year since participants can enjoy traditional folk performances of Korea, Nanta performances, and winter sports all at once. There are other linked tours in tourist attractions around Gangwon-do, so participants from Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia are increasing every year.

Tourist Attractions in the Victory of Ski Resorts
- Mt. Odaesan National Park : Mt. Odaesan means mountain of five peaks. This mountain is famed for its soft and exquisite geological features.
- Woljeongsa Temple : Surround the temple, the one-kilometer-long trail of fir trees that are over 500 years old are the special feature of this historic and beautiful Buddhist temple.
- Sangwonsa Temple : The temple houses the fragmented bones (sarira) of the buddha at jeokmyeolbogung(a house of Buddha's sarira)
- Korea Wild Botanic Garden : The Korea Wild Botanic Garden is home to over 1,000 species of flowers and wild plants that are indigenous to Korea.
